The Story of the Brand
Imaginary Authors has one mission: to conjure memories and to create new ones. By pairing innovative fragrances with creative storytelling, the house hopes to unlock memories you had long forgotten and to inspire new ones. Each scent is therefore presented as a book, with a fictional author and a synopsis that ranges from Naples to Madagascar and from Texas to the Danish coast. The worlds the house builds, both real and fictional, are inclusive places where all are welcome.
The Signature of the House
The house views its fragrances like books: it makes little sense to own just one. Characteristic is the pairing of classic materials, such as orris, oud, saffron and vanilla, with imaginative accords that bring a scene to life. The bottles are simple and rectangular, with labels designed like book covers. A wardrobe of Imaginary Authors thus feels like a bookshelf of your own, with a story for every mood and season.

A Whiff of Waffle Cone was created in partnership with the ice cream brand Salt & Straw from Portland, Oregon.
