Inspiration
In The Cobra & the Canary, 23-year-old Neal Orris, following a tip from a clairvoyant, finds his late father's secret obsession in a Connecticut barn: a pristine 1964 Shelby Cobra Roadster. Together with his best friend Ike he hits the highway towards the Palm Springs race tracks, through motels, swimming pools, cocktails and cigarette smoke.
