Inspiration
The Soft Lawn is the fictional 1916 debut of Claude LeCoq, written while he was still at Princeton. The controversial portrait of upper-class rebellion in New England follows Hampton Perry, a charmingly snotty tennis champion who eventually hands back everything he was given. This is the second edition of the scent.

The Olfactive Composition
Notes: Linden Blossom, Grapefruit, Laurel & Ivy Leaves, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Fresh Tennis Balls
The Signature of The Soft Lawn
Linden blossom and grapefruit open fresh, lightly honeyed and sparkling. Laurel and ivy leaves bring a dark green, leafy tone, while vetiver and oakmoss lend a dry, chypre-like depth. The fresh tennis balls accord adds a playful, slightly rubbery freshness that brings the story to life. Classic in structure, contemporary in character.
