Inspiration
Falling into the Sea is the autobiographical debut of the fictional Nica Galas, who at nineteen wrote of a short, torrid summer romance among the hot beaches and lemon trees of the Gulf of Naples. The story opens with girls picking jasmine while boys cliff-jump into the sea, and ends on a moonlit night.
