The Story of the Brand
Francesca Bianchi grew up in Tuscany and lives and works in Amsterdam. She calls her driving force the 'Emotion Generator Machine': fragrances designed to spark a specific emotion, from the passion of lovers to the memory of the scent of skin or an imaginary place. Literature, film, music and art, from Baudelaire and Blake to King Crimson, play a major role in her work.
The Signature of the House
The fragrances are extraits with a concentration of 25 percent and remarkable longevity. Characteristic are iris butter, leather, balsams and animalic accents, woven into compositions that are both classic and idiosyncratic. The Essentials series reinterprets great raw materials such as neroli, musk, amber and oud in the style of the house.
