Description

Luxe Calme Volupté

Inspiration
Luxe Calme Volupté takes its name from a recurring verse in Baudelaire's poem L'Invitation au voyage, in which the poet invites his lover to an exotic place of calm and beauty. It is also the title of a painting by Henri Matisse that is dear to Francesca Bianchi. She wanted to create a scent that offers comfort and a moment of escape from daily worries.

Fragrance Family
Fruity floral amber and green

The Olfactive Composition
Main notes: Bitter orange, green tangerine, galbanum, hyacinth, tropical fruits, ylang ylang, iris, benzoin, sandalwood, vetiver, opoponax

Perfumer
Francesca Bianchi

The Signature of Luxe Calme Volupté
Bitter orange, green tangerine and galbanum give a fresh, green opening. Hyacinth, tropical fruits and ylang ylang form a lush fruity floral heart, after which iris, benzoin, sandalwood and opoponax bring a soft, ambery calm.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
In our salon, Luxe Calme Volupté stands out for its interplay of hyacinth and benzoin: elegant and full of nuance. On the skin we notice how bitter orange and green tangerine set the tone in the first hour, after which hyacinth and tropical fruits slowly come forward. After several hours mainly benzoin and sandalwood remain, close to the skin and ever more personal. We like to wear it best in spring and summer, during the day and on warm evenings. A scent for those seeking an opulent, sunny scent that brings calm.
