The Story of the Brand
The name Kemi refers to the ancient Egyptian word for black earth, from which alchemy also takes its name. Sergio Momo, who also founded Xerjoff, wanted to bring the alchemical idea to life: turning raw matter into a perfect, purified form. Each scent bears an Arabic or Latin name linked to that tradition, such as Ilm for knowledge, Layla for night and Aurum and Solis for gold and sun.
