The Story of the Brand
Salle Privée was founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by designer duo Anna Hegeman and Patrick Munsters, both with a background in fashion and design. The name refers to your own private space: your home, your office or the place in your mind. For them perfume is a way to choose a mood, just like an outfit, which is why the scents are also made to be layered. The bottles are sleek and minimal, the inspiration comes from Concorde, the Maserati Khamsin, monochrome art and Marcel Proust.
The Signature of the House
Recognisable are the modern, woody and ambery compositions, vegan and made in France, with the seventies as a common thread.
