The Story of the Brand
In 2021 the founding couple of Maison Mataha imagined a vanilla they could not find within haute parfumerie: dark, intense and enveloping, like the memory of a crème brûlée. They entrusted this vision to perfumer Vincent Ricord and guided its development until the desired expression was achieved. This gave rise to Escapade Gourmande, whose international success paved the way for a greater ambition: a contemporary French house of haute parfumerie, rooted in the fundamentals of niche perfumery and independent of trends. The name Mataha brings together the first name and surname of the founders' daughter; this family origin places integrity, care and respect at the heart of the house.
The Signature of the House
Each creation begins with a strong intention set by the house and is developed with a perfumer chosen for his or her distinctive olfactory style, such as Vincent Ricord, Élise Pierre and Dominique Preyssas. The perfumes are imagined and made in France, with carefully selected ingredients, precise formulas and high concentration: every scent is an Extrait de Parfum, dosed between 25 and 35 percent. The bottle extends that care, with substantial glass, a sculptural cap, an integrated zamak plaque and gold accents. For Maison Mataha, luxury rests on genuine quality and craftsmanship, never on ostentation.

The Collection Mémoire Gourmande translates familiar memories into refined gourmands: Escapade Gourmande, Brownie Pop, Café des Délices, Évasion Bonbon and Pêche Velours. The Collection Fleurs Manifestes shows the floral side of the house with Printemps Blanc, a radiant white floral.
