Café des Délices does not choose the bitter, roasted coffee of an espresso, but its milky counterpart: a creamy coffee accord that, together with a golden biscuit accord, feels instantly warm and inviting. Vanilla gives the heart a soft roundness, while tonka bean and a musk accord leave a tender, enveloping trail. At a concentration of 35 percent the scent lasts a long time, yet thanks to its milky texture it is never dominant. This is coffee as a ritual, not as a pick-me-up.
