Whispered Myths

Inspiration
Whispered Myths follows Azzam Issa, who works at his family's bakery as well as being a security guard at the Louvre. Sleep-deprived, he sees angels move from painting to painting and statues whisper riddles to him. Only when he starts listening to these apparitions does he discover something far more remarkable: himself. The scent was originally created for a perfumery in Dubai and centres on a rare Cambodian oud.

The Signature of Whispered Myths
Natural Cambodian oud is known for its sweet, fruity and lightly leathery character, beautifully underlined here by ripe cantaloupe and honey. Cedarwood provides structure and dryness, while muskdana, a plant-based musk, makes the scent soft and skin-like. The salvaged shipwreck accord brings a salty, weathered woodiness that gives the oud a historic, almost mythical character.
