Vespero

Inspiration
Vespero means evening in Esperanto. Jeroboam dedicated this extract to dandyish urban night owls who, according to the house, were only waiting for their signature perfume. It is a scent for insiders: recognising it on someone else becomes a quiet, knowing nod, as between members of the same private club. The house describes its character as robust, with oud, leather and amber woods, lit by citrus.

The Signature of Vespero
Vespero plays with the contrast between light and dark, just like the transition from day to evening. The opening of grapefruit, bergamot and apple is fresh and almost effervescent, yet beneath it you immediately feel the weight of leather and oud. Cedarwood and geranium give the heart a dry, straight line, while jasmine adds a touch of skin warmth. In the base, amber, woods, patchouli and the house musks melt into a dark, velvety trail that easily lasts through the night.
