According to Histoires de Parfums, 1.7 is a sunbeam, a radiant joy that enchants every moment, and for us it is the sunniest scent in the collection. The opening is warm and airy at once: pink pepper gives a playful tingle, coconut a creamy, sunny softness, and an ozonic accord brings the freshness of sea air. It feels like the first morning of a holiday. In the heart rose, lily of the valley and frangipani bloom. We find the frangipani especially beautiful, because together with the coconut that tropical flower gives the rose a creamy, almost skin-warm glow. In the base vanilla, musk and sandalwood make everything soft and enveloping, like sun-warmed skin at the end of a beach day. It is a cheerful, creamy floral that still stays refined. In the 115 ml bottle it is a generous summer scent, also lovely for returning to the light for a moment in winter.
