Gérald Ghislain founded Histoires de Parfums on a simple idea: every fragrance tells a story. In his library of scents, each bottle bears a year, that of the birth or defining moment of a historical figure, from Casanova and the Marquis de Sade to George Sand, Jules Verne and Mata Hari.
The Signature of the House
The bottles are designed like books in a library, with labels like title pages. The compositions are rich and full of character, made in France with carefully chosen raw materials, each telling a chapter of cultural history.
Collections
The Classic Collection gathers the years, such as 1472, 1725, 1740, 1804, 1826, 1828, 1876, 1889 Moulin Rouge, 1899, 1969 and 7753. Alongside are Ambre 114, Encens Roi, Noir Patchouli and Tubéreuse Nuit Blanche. The artful This Is Not A Blue Bottle, a nod to Magritte, explores abstraction, light, fire, yin and yang in vivid blue bottles, with Sold Out! (1.8) as its newest chapter.
