Inspiration
With This Is Not A Blue Bottle, Histoires de Parfums winks at Magritte: a blue bottle that is more than a bottle. This perfume was born from an irresistible aldehyde and the hypnotic call of bitter orange, above a mysterious abyss of patchouli. It is the perfume of abstraction.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
1.1 is the beginning of This Is Not A Blue Bottle, the series in which Histoires de Parfums winks at Magritte, and the brand calls it the perfume of abstraction. We understand why. The opening is hypnotic: aldehyde gives a gleaming, almost silver sparkle, and electric orange sets a bittersweet spark beside it. It feels like light falling on metal. In the heart it turns cool and sweet at once, with geranium giving a metallic, green edge and honey setting a soft, golden warmth against it. We find that combination very original: icy and honey-sweet in one breath. In the base everything descends to amber, ethereal musk and a mysterious depth of patchouli, which gives the scent its chypre character. The result is modern, intriguing and a little artistic. 1.1 is for those who love aldehydes and chypres but seek something new, beautiful with a black suit or at a gallery opening.
