Inspiration
Slow Explosions tells of the fictional Gwen K. Vroomen, who in 1980 quit her monotonous job and threw a dart at a world map in a bar. She had never heard of Goa, but knew immediately she had to go. Three months later she was celebrating Hindu New Year in a tea garden in the hills of Kerala, fireworks exploding below.
