The Story of the Brand
Reminiscence began in 1970 on the Côte d'Azur, where the founders designed jewellery and looked for a scent to match their bohemian style. They chose patchouli, a raw material then still seen as exotic and rebellious, and had a perfume made from it that became a cult classic. Rem followed, inspired by Saint-Barthélemy, and then the amber scents. The house has worked with Robertet in Grasse for decades and holds on to one recognisable signature: patchouli, amber, musk and vanilla, with one raw material taking the lead in each scent.

Recognisable are the warm, ambery base of patchouli, vanilla and musk, and the sunny southern French mood.
