Chypre Mousse is the dandies' perfume, as the house itself calls it. It conjures a forest floor after a shower: damp moss, glistening ferns, a path that smells of earth and resin. A tribute to the green chypres from the house's golden years.

The Signature of Chypre Mousse
Mint and fennel are cool and a touch anise-like. Then the green deepens: oakmoss, bitter galbanum, angelica and fern. In the base vetiver and pine needle add something dry and woody, like twigs underfoot.

To us Chypre Mousse is the scent of a Sunday forest walk in October, when everything is still dripping. It is green and honest, without sweetness, and smells of real moss rather than an idea of it. Men and women in our shop react to it with equal enthusiasm. We find it at its finest in spring and on crisp days, but honestly we reach for it all year. For any nature lover, this is a bottle to cherish.
