The Story of the Brand
The story begins with Jean-Louis Fargeon, perfumer to Marie-Antoinette. In 1860 Louis Legrand took over the house and named it Oriza. Around 1900 it won medals at the world fairs and supplied the court of the Tsar. After a long silence, Hugo Lambert and Franck Ferrand revived the house in 2012, with scents built on formulas and bottles from its own archives.
The Signature of the House
Characteristic are the powdery flowers, balsams, moss and leather: scents with Belle Époque allure, yet composed in a clear, wearable way.

The collection ranges from green chypres such as Chypre Mousse and Muguet Fleuri, through powdery florals like Héliotrope and Violettes du Czar, to the Joyaux de la Couronne with Le Régent and the smoky Relique d'Amour.
