Inspiration
Les Frivolités draws its inspiration from Jacques Fath's accessory collection, 'Les Frivolités de Fath'. The name led perfumer Luca Maffei to a unique rose-flavoured macaron accord of Givscone, raspberry cream and heliotrope, created exclusively for the House of Jacques Fath.

The Signature of Les Frivolités
Bergamot, Paradisamide, osmanthus and pink pepper open light and tingling. In the heart, rose centifolia absolute melts into the macaron accord, sweet but never sugary, with the creamy, almond-like softness of heliotrope. Beneath, suede, orris butter, sandalwood, amber and musk lend a velvety, faintly leathery texture. That contrast between patisserie and suede makes the scent both playful and grown-up.

For us, Les Frivolités is the most charming rose of the house. The macaron makes it cheerful, but the suede and iris ensure it never becomes childlike. It feels like a silk scarf: soft, polished and close to the skin. We like to wear it by day in spring or as a light evening scent.
