La Rose

La Rose is Le Galion's vision of what a rose should truly smell like. Neither an opulent oriental rose nor a traditional soliflore, it is a fragrance that balances freshness, transparency and sophistication. It captures the beauty of a rose covered with morning dew and illuminated by soft sunlight.

The original fragrance was created in 1950 by Paul Vacher. According to the house, he studied more than seventy varieties of roses before finding the perfect inspiration in the garden of Le Galion's private estate. Thomas Fontaine later reinterpreted the composition, preserving its timeless elegance while giving it a contemporary signature.

The opening feels bright and natural. Bergamot provides sparkling freshness while violet leaf adds a green and dewy character that evokes the atmosphere of a blooming rose garden.

At the heart, rose takes center stage. Ylang ylang, water peach and lily bring softness and an airy aquatic quality that sets La Rose apart from many classic rose fragrances.

The base develops through patchouli, cedarwood, musk and vanilla. These notes add warmth and refinement while allowing the rose to remain luminous and elegant until the very end.
