Inspiration
In the late sixties a fresh wind blew through France and through perfumery. Formality made way for youthful energy and counter-culture was celebrated. Le Galion launched Eau Noble in 1972, and in 2022 the scent returned, as contemporary and genderless as ever.

The Signature of Eau Noble
Green reseda and resinous mastic meet rhubarb and blood orange. In the heart ginger and geranium add spark, while pine and sandalwood build the woody character. Below, cypress, cedarwood, patchouli and labdanum give a warm, resinous depth.

What strikes us about this Eau Noble is how modern it smells for a scent with so much history. The ginger and geranium in the heart give it a zesty, almost metallic clarity. After a few hours it turns warmer thanks to the labdanum, like sun on wood. It is perfect to share with your partner, and some customers really do. Our favourite seasons for it are spring and autumn.
