Inspiration
Kintsugi is Atto II, Scena IV of the Opera collection. Spring has finally arrived and the fresh air wakes everything from winter lethargy. Beneath a magnolia tree, a potter repairs a broken vase using an ancient technique: kintsukuroi, golden repair. The master did not want to lose the old vase. On the wall beside the rose bush, a carved stone reads: cherish the simple, cherish the old, do not hide your scars but show them with pride.

The Signature of Kintsugi
Kintsugi feels like gold flowing into a crack. Bergamot and Chinese magnolia open light and spring-like, carried by a savoury amber. The heart brings together golden suede, Centifolia rose from Grasse and violet leaves: soft, velvety and green. Siam benzoin, raspberry leaves, patchouli and vanilla form a warm, gently fruity base that lingers long and comforting on the skin.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
We love Kintsugi for both its story and its texture: a floral suede scent that is soft and strong at once. Beautiful in spring, yet just as lovely on cooler evenings.
