Inspiration
Jasmin et Cigarette evokes the era of the great film studios, when Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich held the camera spellbound in black and white and smoke. The house describes the scent of a woman showing her freshness to the night, and elegance as Gainsbourg saw it: the woman of the eighties who smokes Gitanes, wears jeans and claims her sensuality with complete ease. The scent has been around since the early years of Etat Libre d'Orange.

The Signature of Jasmin & Cigarette
Galbanum and sage open green and herbal. Jasmine absolute and turmeric give a warm, faintly tobacco-like floral heart, and tonka and maté a dry, sweet base reminiscent of cold cigarette smoke on a silk scarf.

Jasmin et Cigarette does not smell of an ashtray, but of the memory of a cigarette at a party. The jasmine is soft and hay-like, the tonka makes it warm. We find it very French and a little nonchalant. A scent for red lipstick and a white blouse. Smoky and chic.
