Inspiration
For François Hénin, vanilla has always been the ultimate weapon of seductive souls. Vanilla is recognised all over the world as an invitation to be devoured, Jeroboam writes. Insulo, Esperanto for island, translates that thought into an exhilarating vanilla fragrance with a touch of liquorice and jasmine on a bouquet of musks, described by the house as carnal and voluptuous.

The Signature of Insulo
Insulo is strikingly minimal in structure: three official notes, yet a scent with real depth. The vanilla opens round and warm at once, with a dark, slightly anise-like liquorice touch that gives the sweetness tension. In the heart, jasmine brings a radiant, skin-like floralcy that makes the vanilla less gourmand and more sensual. Then the musks take over and give the vanilla a soft, powdery aura, like warm skin after a day in the sun.
