Ilham is the new fragrance by soOud: in Arabic it is the sound of the word whose corresponding meaning is “Inspiration”. A complex and intense olfactory pyramid, notable for such precious and unusual ingredients as saffron, grey amber, tree musk, the Indian spice Nagarmotha or the Malaysian essential oil Gujum.
In soOud, the sensuality of oriental fragrances, profound, intriguing and passionate, typical of the Arab world, encounter a soul refined in its western manifacturing. Two precious raw materials conceal rare essences dedicated to the exploration of the senses, divided into two lines: Nektar, true high-concentration, rich, precious extracts, and Eau Fine, intense and delicate on the skin.
The names chosen are the phonetic translation of Arab words: on every package you can discover their meaning in English and French. Every fragrance extols inner beauty: the bottles almost entirely lacquered – except for the central part where a strip of transparent glass appears – to remind us of the niqab veil, which leaves a glimpse only of the eyes of the person who wears it. The stopper with its half cut recalls the sloping lines of modern buildings in the Middle East, completing a masterful blend of traditions and contemporaneity.

About soOud
The sensuality of oriental fragrances, intriguing and passionate, typical of the Arab world, encounter in SoOud a French soul and refined finish. Precious essences dedicated to the exploration of the senses, divided into two lines: Nektar, genuine high-concentration, rich and precious extracts, and Eau Fine, light waters more impalpable and delicate on the skin. The names chosen for the perfumes are the phonetic translation of Arabic words: on every package you can discover the meaning in English and French. Every fragrance praises inner beauty, the bottles almost entirely lacquered – except for the central part where a strip of transparent glass appears – to remind us of the niqab veil, which leaves a glimpse only of the eyes of the person who wears it. The stopper with its half cut recalls the sloping points of modern buildings in the Middle East, completing a masterful blend of traditions and contemporaneity. An invitation to discover the intrinsic mystery of every perfume, beyond all dogma or ideology.
SoOud
An invitation to discover inner beauty, beyond every dogma and ideology. This and much more is to be found in SoOud, the new collection of fragrances created by Stèphane Humbert Lucas, the well-known French nose. And it is no surprise that the picture of a middle-eastern woman has been chosen, veiled with the classic niquab, to illustrate these entirely new and fascinating fragrances: SoOud is mystery, is the connection between two worlds that come together to create the perfume of inwardness.
The range marks the special debut of a new category: Parfum Nectar— the first and only existing in the world, clear and precious, noble and sophisticated. Highly concentrated, this is comparable to an Parfum Extrait.
The Eau Fine range is more subtle and delicate, (comparable to an Eau de Parfum strength) but retains the unaltered character of the SoOud collection.
