Description

Green Water

Inspiration
Green Water was created in 1946 by perfumer Vincent Roubert and is regarded as the first pioneer of the citrus aromatic family, loved for its distinctive freshness. In 2016 Jacques Fath Parfums revived the scent with perfumer Cécile Zarokian, using noble ingredients and a generous infusion of neroli.

Fragrance Family
Citrus and aromatic

The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Neroli, bergamot, mandarin
Heart notes: Mint, basil, tarragon
Base notes: Vetiver, oakmoss, grey amber

Perfumer
Cécile Zarokian

The Signature of Green Water
Neroli, bergamot and mandarin open clear and slightly bitter. Then comes the green heart of mint, basil and tarragon, herbs that give the citrus a cool, almost crisp texture. Vetiver, oakmoss and grey amber anchor it all, so the freshness does not evaporate but turns into a clean, woody finish. It is a lesson in classic structure: citrus and herbs in balance, carried by moss and wood.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
For us, Green Water proves that a classic can feel modern. The tarragon and basil make it more distinctive than an ordinary eau fraîche, and the oakmoss gives it style. We wear it on warm days, after sport or at the office. A scent for anyone who loves freshness with a history.
