Inspiration
In Every Storm a Serenade, the young writer Stina decamps to her mother's summer house in winter to write a book. For one day and one night, her path crosses that of the fisherman Ulv. While her novel stalls, she writes countless unsent letters full of longing. The story is set on the desolate west coast of Denmark during the off-season.
