The Story of the Brand
Ennio Capasa founded Costume National in 1986 as a fashion house with a sleek, rock-inspired signature. In 2001 came the first fragrance, Scent Intense: an artistic, powerful perfume made entirely in Italy that marked a turning point in artistic perfumery. Since then the house has worked with great perfumers such as Dominique Ropion, Laurent Bruyère, Julien Rasquinet and Fanny Bal.
The Signature of the House
Costume National stands for rebellious elegance. The compositions are built like tailoring, with amber, leather, spices and noble woods as recurring themes, and a high concentration that gives a distinctive sillage. The bottles are glass reproductions of Ennio Capasa's sculpture, inspired by the human figure.

The collection includes icons such as Scent, Scent Intense and the parfum version Intense Red Edition, the Homme, Homme Parfum, Free d'Homme and Secret Woods fragrances, the duo I and J as tributes to Italy and Japan, and scents such as 21, Paperplane, Soul and NU so DE.
