Inspiration
At sunset in the tropical forest, civets emerge among heady blossoms and scattered coffee berries. Zoologist Civet pays tribute to civet, one of perfumery's oldest materials, and to the chypres of the past that were not afraid of raw, animalic musks. All animalic notes are synthetic.

The Signature of Civet
The opening combines bergamot, lemon, orange, tarragon, black pepper and spices. Then follows a lush heart of carnation, frangipani, heliotrope, hyacinth, linden blossom, tuberose and ylang. In the extensive base, coffee, incense, labdanum, oakmoss, Russian leather, vanilla and civet merge into a complex, classically elegant chypre with a pronounced animalic undertone.
