Description

Catherine

Inspiration
Catherine belongs to the Le Donne di Masque collection, a series of portraits of women who are each given their own olfactive story. Together with Diana and Vaiana, Catherine was presented at Esxence in Milan in 2024, as one of the last creations co-founder Alessandro Brun conceived for the house. The portrait is that of a light, smiling jasmine in a green spring, composed with exceptional natural materials from LMR Naturals.

Fragrance Family
Green, white floral

The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Rhubarb, violet leaf, green grass
Heart notes: Jasmine sambac absolute, Indian tuberose absolute
Base notes: New Caledonian sandalwood oil, cashmeran, musk, vetiver

Perfumer
Caroline Dumur

The Signature of Catherine
What makes Catherine special is the way the greenery opens up the white flowers. Rhubarb adds a juicy, slightly tart tone, while violet leaf and green grass bring the scent of freshly picked stems and dew. Beneath them, jasmine sambac and Indian tuberose bloom, yet greener and fresher than in classic white florals. In the base, New Caledonian sandalwood, cashmeran and musk create a soft, skin-like warmth, with vetiver as a dry, straight line.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
For us, Catherine is a white floral for anyone who finds tuberose too heavy: bright, green and elegant, with a soft woody finish. A scent that comes into its own on spring days and with a light wardrobe.
