The Story of the Brand
Bruno Acampora was a man of fashion and style, raised in a Neapolitan family of glove makers. A lover of perfume, he began creating fragrances for himself and his friends in 1974, and they soon appeared in his boutiques, including Sagan on Capri. Musc was an instant success: Italy's first artistic niche fragrance and a cult perfume still worn today. The house is now continued by the family, with Sonia and Brunello Acampora.
The Signature of the House
Until the 2010s, Musc existed only as a Pure Essence: a concentrated, alcohol-free perfume oil. Since then, Acampora fragrances have also been available as Extrait de Parfum, with up to 33% perfume oil in alcohol, and as Eau de Parfum, with up to 25%. In its own laboratory, the house selects raw materials from all over the world. The common thread is a warm, Mediterranean richness: musk, precious flowers, resins and woods, with the atmosphere of Naples and Capri.

The 7 Classics bring together Blu, Bruno, Iranzol, Jasmin T, Prima T, Sballo and Seplasia. The 7 Rules bring together scents such as Courser, Collie, Sandan, Vanyl, Vert and Où. Acampora 54 was presented with a campaign inspired by the legendary New York nightclub Studio 54, featuring Bruno, Freak Chic, Keep on Dancing, Robin and Young Hearts, among others. There are also Musc, Musc Gold, Musc Moka, Azzurro di Capri, Volubilis, Ruby and Pompeii Red.
Popular Fragrances
Musc is the scent where it all began: warm, spicy and earthy. Musc Gold adds Italian neroli and floral honey, Musc Moka Neapolitan coffee. Blu revolves around tuberose, Courser around an elegant leather and Vert around a spicy vetiver. Young Hearts, a green chypre with pine and galbanum, won the Art and Olfaction Award in the independent category in 2020.
