Inspiration
Bouquet Ideale goes back to the origins of Casamorati and builds a bridge between past and present. The scent is based on a perfume Casamorati released in the nineteenth century. When Xerjoff founder Sergio Momo discovered a sample of the original, a largely floral composition, he set himself a remarkable challenge: to recreate the scent without using a single floral note.
Fragrance Family
Woody, spicy and vanilla
The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Cinnamon, nutmeg
Heart notes: Cedarwood, guaiac wood
Base notes: Coumarin, musk, tobacco flowers, vanilla
The Signature of Bouquet Ideale
An opening of cinnamon and nutmeg sets the tone. At the heart, cedarwood and guaiac wood unfold, before coumarin, musk, tobacco flowers and vanilla give the scent a lasting, warm finish.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Bouquet Ideale moves us with its balance between cinnamon and coumarin: refined, without ever becoming loud. On the skin the scent opens with cinnamon and nutmeg, bright and inviting during the first half hour. Then cedarwood and guaiac wood take over and the composition reveals its true character. After three to four hours it settles into coumarin and musk, a soft, personal finish that lingers well into the day on skin and clothing. We like to wear it best in autumn and winter, on cool evenings and at dinner. A scent for lovers of comforting, spicy vanilla scents.
