The Signature of Black Muscs
The structure is strikingly spare for a house that loves opulence, and that is precisely its strength. Bergamot and lemon open bright and brief, like light on black fabric. Violet then takes over with a dry, slightly powdery sheen, while patchouli and rose lay an earthy, spicy layer beneath. The real story unfolds in the base: amber and musk melt into a skin-like, warm accord that stays close to the body. The musk here does not behave like clean laundry but like something velvety and slightly dark, with just enough amber to make it glow.

Black Muscs is one of the scents we reach for most often in the shop when someone wants something elegant without relying on volume. It is unisex in the true sense: on a man's wrist the patchouli turns a little drier, on a woman's the violet steps forward. After two hours it sits like a second skin, and at the end of the day you still catch it on a scarf or collar. We like it best during the day at the office or for an evening in town, under a dark coat. A soft, musky amber for lovers of understated luxury.
