Aoud Queen Roses was created as if Montale placed the finest Middle Eastern roses in a velvet box beside a smooth, elegant oud. The opening is immediately rosy, bright and precious, lifted by geranium which adds depth and a slightly spicy floral nuance. Quite soon the signature Montale oud rises, not too medicinal but warm and refined, so the rose always remains centre stage. In the heart, saffron and patchouli bring a gentle oriental glow that makes the fragrance more opulent, celebratory and sensual. The base of sandalwood and musk gives a soft, lingering trail so Aoud Queen Roses stays on the skin for hours with a clear rose and wood accord.
