Aoud Forest

Inspiration
Montale Aoud Forest is oud with an unexpectedly fresh, outdoorsy twist. It opens with lemon lifted by pepper and nutmeg, bright yet spicy, like breathing in cool air over wet leaves. Then it turns softer and more elegant: rose and violet bring a velvety floral sheen that contrasts beautifully with the opening, while ginger adds warmth and tension. In the dry down, it becomes deeper and more forest like, cedarwood and oakmoss create a green earthy chypre feel, patchouli adds body, and oud stays present as a dark backbone. The result is a bold yet wearable oud that starts fresh and dries down into long lasting woody depth.
