Inspiration
In 1514 Pope Leo X received a white elephant as a gift from the king of Portugal. Annone, as Rome called him, walked through the city in processions and became so beloved that Raphael painted his portrait. Pantheon Roma captures that wonder at something rare and regal in a golden extrait.
Fragrance family
Oriental floral
Fragrance notes
Top notes: Bergamot, saffron, mango
Heart notes: Rose, iris
Base notes: White musk, amber, nagarmotha, oud
The Signature of Annone
Bergamot switches on the light, saffron brings instant spicy richness. Mango slips in, sweet and unexpected. Rose and iris keep the heart elegant, nagarmotha and oud give a smoky, woody depth that amber and musk let land softly again.
What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
Annone is the scent through which many customers get to know Pantheon Roma, and often the first bottle they buy. We love the way the mango softens the saffron: oriental without becoming heavy. The oud is present but well-mannered, more a warm shadow than a statement. On cold days one of us wears it under a camel coat, and the scent stays in the collar until the next morning. An extrait with grandeur that still wears with ease.
