Description

Bat

Inspiration
Zoologist Bat follows the bat, the only mammal capable of true flight, on its nocturnal journey. First to a lavish feast in a tropical jungle, then back to the cool, dark cave where it hangs among thousands of others. Those two worlds, sweet fruit and damp rock, together tell the story of the scent.

The Olfactive Composition
Top notes: Fig, Passion Fruit, Pink Guava, Soil Accord
Heart notes: Hay, Incense, Minerals, Night Blooming Jasmine
Base notes: Animalic Notes*, Leather*, Mossy Stones, Teak Wood, Vetiver
*Synthetic notes. Zoologist Bat does not use animal products.

The Signature of Bat
Bat is a study in contrast. Fig, pink guava and passion fruit open juicy and almost overripe, but a soil accord soon pulls the scent downward. In the heart, hay, minerals and incense evoke cool stone, while night-blooming jasmine adds a soft sheen. Teak wood, vetiver, mossy stones and synthetic leather and animalic notes make the base warm and skin-like without ever turning heavy.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
One of the most original scents in the collection. The fruit makes Bat approachable, the mineral, earthy side makes it special. Beautiful in autumn and on cool evenings.

Contrast

I was looking for a unique scent that I could wear in warmer weather and I finally found it! Smells like a rainforest with it’s wet soil, tropical fruits and damp vegetation
