Super Nova is the odd one out in the Gritti family and precisely for that reason one of our favourites. It smells of stone after a thunderstorm, of fireworks just let off and of cold metal. The gunpowder and artemisia make it headstrong, while the oud and amber keep it wearable. It divides opinion, but those who understand it want nothing else. It comes alive for us on cold, clear winter evenings.
