Inspiration
In One Thousand and One Nights there is the expression soul of my soul, used to address a loved one. The narrator of the official story remembers hearing Aladdin call his princess this as a child, and asking his mother what a soul is. Her answer: an invisible presence that links us to the divine, a little like the vanilla trail of a perfume you want to follow. The scent speaks of offerings, Persia, India and Mesopotamia, and sits within the Orange Extraordinaire Collection.
