Inspiration
In Persian poetry the saaqi is the cupbearer who pours the wine, and for Sufis the one who points the way to the divine. Sasva set the scent in a tavern on the Silk Road, where India meets Persia and verses of Hafez and Rumi ring out beneath the lanterns.

Saaqi is Sasva's newest and an instant hit with us. You really smell the wine, dark red and fruity, and the almond makes it creamy. Then comes the tobacco, with a plume of smoke that reminds us of an open fire. The caramel and vanilla below are warm but never sticky. We like to wear it most on a winter evening, over a good conversation and a glass of wine, and we always get asked about it.
