Description

Red Shoes

Inspiration
Red Shoes is the name of the 1948 ballet film for which Jacques Fath designed the costumes of prima ballerina Moira Shearer. In 1950 Fath created a sumptuous red silk dress of the same name, worn by model Bettina. That dress inspired perfumer Cécile Zarokian to create a scent with a sparkling opening and a fresh sensation.

The Signature of Red Shoes
Blackcurrant, red berries, grapefruit and aldehydes give a sparkling start. Ginger and pink pepper evoke the cool, metallic sheen of silk and satin, while Damascena rose absolute and geranium fill the heart. Patchouli, cashmere wood and musks amplify the opulence of the rose and give a strong, lasting sillage. A classic rose patchouli thus becomes light, glossy and full of movement.

What our ParfuMaria team thinks of this fragrance
For us, Red Shoes is a rose with confidence. The aldehydes and pepper give it a fresh sheen, and the patchouli keeps it present for hours. We like to wear it in the evening or at an occasion where you want to be noticed. A scent for rose lovers who want it with flair.
