Opus VII Reckless Leather reads like a trek through sharp green shadows that suddenly turn into smoke and leather. The opening hits with spark and bite: pink pepper and cardamom crackle, while galbanum brings a bitter green edge and nutmeg with fenugreek makes it dry, almost metallic and austere. In the heart, the fragrance dives into darkness: oud smoulders, leather turns warm and tactile, and ambroxan paired with ambergris adds that glossy, animalic luxury. The base feels like the final underline of sensuality, with costus and muscone creating skin like tension, frankincense building a solemn smoke veil, cypriol pushing a leathery woody accent, and sandalwood polishing everything into a velvety finish.
