Inspiration
O, Unknown! tells of the fictional explorer Philip Sava, who at 65 was given less than a year to live. He left everything behind and set out from Madagascar for parts unknown: by freighter across the Indian Ocean, through the Bangladeshi wilderness, Nepal and Tibet into rural China. His journey lasted over a decade and produced his most confessional observations.

The Signature of O, Unknown!
Black tea and a tincture of lapsang souchong, the Chinese tea smoked over pine fires, give a dry, smoky opening. Orris butter, one of the most precious materials in perfumery, adds a powdery, almost buttery softness. Kyoto moss and musk balsam bring a cool, green yet warm skin tone, and sandalwood rounds off creamily. The mysterious ??? leaves room for the imagination.
