Nostos

Inspiration
Nostos means the return in Ancient Greek: the one we long for and endlessly pursue, yet never truly reach. It is the root of the word nostalgia. The scent is dedicated to Achilles, the most radiant hero of the Homeric epic, divine through his mother Thetis and human through his father Peleus. He embodies duality: power and vulnerability, violence and grace. Jordi Fernández composed it for the Orange Extraordinaire Collection.

Nostos is a hero's scent, but one with a tender side. The incense and oud give strength, the rose and suede softness. We find it beautifully balanced and very wearable for an Extraordinaire. It lasts long and leaves a warm trail. Strong and gentle.
