Nemus

Nemus is part of the Fragments by NVC collection from Neela Vermeire Creations. Its name derives from the Latin word for forest and serves as a tribute to the beauty, tranquillity and strength of nature. Once again, Neela Vermeire collaborated with master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, renowned for his ability to transform landscapes and emotions into fragrance.

The opening is bright and vibrant, combining bergamot, citron and lemon with a refined tea note that immediately evokes sunlight filtering through the trees of a peaceful forest.

As the fragrance develops, ginger, clary sage and geranium emerge. These aromatic notes bring freshness, subtle spice and a natural green character that enhances the woodland inspiration behind the composition.

The base reveals cedarwood, frankincense, oud, cypriol, patchouli and ambergris. Together they create a warm and layered foundation reminiscent of ancient trees, resinous woods and sun-warmed forest floors. Despite its richness, Nemus remains elegant and remarkably airy throughout its development.
