Monochrome is inspired by monochrome painting and the Zero movement, from Kazimir Malevich to Ben Nicholson: artists who revealed a world of emotion with a single colour and much texture. Salle Privée translated that into a sleek woody scent with depth.

Monochrome is the scent we choose for a job interview or an important meeting. It is clean and sleek, yet the leather and clove keep it from ever being dull. We find that metallic edge very special; it brings to mind a cold steel table in a gallery. It wears all year, and looks just as good with a white shirt as with a black roll-neck. Try it layered with Kham-Sin too.
