The Story of the Brand
Miguel Matos spent years as a fashion journalist before teaching himself the craft of perfumery. From his studio in Almada, across the Tagus from Lisbon, he does everything himself, from formula to bottle. His scents are autobiographical. Hard Techno and Berlin come from the techno clubs of Lisbon and Berlin, Fado Jasmim honours the music of Portugal and Euphoric Patchouly is set in Studio 54 in 1977, the year he was born.
The Signature of the House
Characteristic are animalic touches, unexpected notes such as banana, cumin or computer smoke, and a high concentration: everything is extrait.
