Inspiration
Fado Jasmim is a tribute to fado, the Portuguese music recognised by UNESCO as intangible heritage. Miguel Matos calls it the music that makes him Portuguese to the core: sadness made beautiful. He chose jasmine as the heart, sensual and melancholic, with the indolic side of a wilting flower.

Lemon petitgrain, passion fruit, banana and plum open juicy. Jasmine with indole, rose, tuberose and peach form a full, carnal floral heart. Civet, oud, amber, ambergris, oakmoss, musk, coumarin and coconut give a dark, animalic base.

Fado Jasmim is a jasmine for the experienced. The fruit makes the opening cheerful, after which the flower arrives in full, almost overripe glory, with civet and oud deepening it all. Melancholic and sensual at once, just like the music. It is powerful, so apply sparingly. Gorgeous on warm late-summer evenings.
