Malfa Walls
The small town of Malfa, located on the island of Salina, became famous since the works of Lampedusa and Visconti. The aeolian island, bordered by sea spray and winds, was the source of inspiration for ‘Malfa Walls’.
Sicilian citrus leads the way into the heart of the nave of the Church of San Lorenzo, where the scent of wood panelling vies with the coldness of thick walls dating from 1703.
Incense rises to the heavens, carrying with it the prayers and hopes of an entire people.
